We have an exciting opportunity for a people-focused and motivated Practice Manager to join us in a new role working across two IVC brands, Oakmount Vets and Kingsway Veterinary Hospital. You will work closely with the Director of Practice and be supported by a wider management team. Situated in Burnley, Lancashire, Oakmount Vets has been providing exceptional veterinary care to the community for over 60 years. A busy, small animal practice, it is well equipped with 5 consulting rooms, 2 theatres, digital and dental radiography, in-house lab, and offers orthopaedic and laparoscopic surgeries and ultrasonography. Kingsway Veterinary Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care for more than 80 years, successfully combining a traditional ethos of compassionate care with progressive, modern medicine. The hospital is equipped with an extensive range of modern facilities.
As Practice Manager, you will lead the non-clinical operations of the practice, working closely with clinical leadership to ensure efficient day-to-day running, strong team performance, and an outstanding client experience. You’ll be responsible for operational delivery, people management, and compliance, while supporting the practice to achieve its performance, quality, and service objectives. This role plays a key part in creating a positive culture and enabling clinical teams to deliver excellent care. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
