This role is primarily based at our Zetland Road Hospital, working a four‑day week (8:30am–6:30pm), with 3 in 11 Saturdays. Saturday shifts include two at Zetland Road Hospital (8:30am–5:00pm) and one at our Fishponds branch (9:00am–4:00pm). This is a float position, covering shifts across our eight Bristol branches, offering a varied caseload with a mix of consulting and surgery. You’ll work across a hospital setting as well as smaller and medium‑sized practices, giving you excellent exposure and variety. We are keen to talk to both full and part‑time applicants, who will be considered; we are happy to discuss flexible working for the right candidate.

You’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team across all eight sites, led by an experienced Clinical Director and several Senior Vets, many of whom have been with the practice for over a decade. You’ll receive plenty of support from experienced and approachable colleagues, including vets holding Certificates in Surgery and Small Animal Medicine. We also have certificates in progress, alongside a wealth of additional expertise in areas such as Behaviour, Herbal Medicine, and Acupuncture.
