Exciting opportunity for a split role between two of our clinics; Beech House & New Priory. New Priory is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry along with the support of nursing clinics — all bolstered by excellent hospital facilities. Patients of our Brighton clinic can also benefit from the on-site support of Brighton Veterinary Referrals if additional expertise is required. Cover at our Peacehaven branch may be required from time to time.
The Practices
Beech House is a small, first opinion practice. You will run clinics, have dedicated surgical days, care for inpatients and have regular communication with clients, enabling you to build your client base. Beech House currently has 2 vets, 3 nurses and 1 student nurse, with ample support from 4 Client Care team members. Equipment includes an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray and operating theatre. The practice is a short walk from the train station and close to central Brighton.

Working hours
Part-time hours will include up to 20 hours on Thursday 08:30 – 19:00 and Friday 08:00 – 18:30 with occasional weekend cover on rotation.
What we are looking for
We hope to find a nurse who is passionate about animal and client care and who wants to be part of a team. We are looking for a nurse who is confident in some sole charge work at our branch practice. You must be eligible to be registered with the RCVS, preferred 3+ years qualified and it is essential that you have excellent communication skills. We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is competent in all routine surgeries and ideally more complex ones too, although there is support available to develop.
