We are looking for a committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
- General nursing duties, including patient care, anaesthesia, and assisting in surgery
- Performing diagnostic imaging, lab work, and radiography
- Providing exceptional nursing care to inpatients, including monitoring during anaesthesia and recovery
- Conducting nurse clinics and providing client education
- Assisting with procedures, routine consultations, and theatre duties
- Support the Growth of Richmond House. This role will primarily be based at Richmond House Vets with occasional cover and weekend work at Gatehouse Vets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid RCVS registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience in small animal practice (newly qualified nurses are welcome)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Proactive, enthusiastic attitude towards nursing and patient care
Working Hours
This is a part-time role requiring 15 hours per week, preferably three 5-hour shifts from 3:00PM to 7:00PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. A 1 in 4 Saturday rota at Gatehouse Vets is required. There are no out-of-hours duties.
