We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at White Cross Vets on a full-time basis. Our practice has a Dental x-ray, main x-ray, new ultrasound machine, in-house laboratory, in-house Sedivue for urine analysis and we're currently completing our ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic status. The practice currently employs 2 Vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and 2 client care advisors. We promote an open dialogue and focus on supporting each other at work. How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week, with shifts typically running from 08:30–16:30 or 11:00–19:00. You will also take part in a 1-in-4 Saturday rota with time off given during the week to compensate.

- Theatre work including prep and monitoring anaesthesia
- Support with diagnostics including lab work and imaging
Qualifications
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
