We are delighted to open applications for a motivated, compassionate RVN to join our Emergency Team at Blaise Veterinary Referrals as a Daytime Emergency Nurse. This role will give you the opportunity to deal with a wide range of emergency and critical care cases and monitor patients from our referral services. Please note these will be day shifts within our Emergency Team; this is not a night position.

Responsibilities

  • Emergency triage and procedure nursing.
  • Inpatient care within our ICU, general and isolation wards.
  • Monitoring anaesthesia of emergency surgeries.

Qualifications

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
  • Motivated to deliver the exceptional clinic standards that Vets Now is known for.
  • Experience in an ECC environment is advantageous.

Working pattern

A full-time role with us will comprise 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays, following a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. Shifts will be an early shift 06:00-17:25 or a late shift 11:00-22:25.

Salary

£0 - £33,000 a year; £33,000 DOE
