Do you like working with people? And love animals? We are currently looking for a receptionist to join our team. You will be part of a fast‑paced and friendly team, responsible for being the first point of contact to our clients. You will book appointments and deal with a variety of enquiries either face‑to‑face, over the phone or via email. You will maintain client records and process payments, ensuring that our clients receive the excellent service we are known for.

We have 17 Vets and 26 Nurses including SVN’s, further supported by VCA’s and an Administrative Support team. As a team of encouraging, supportive, and exceptionally knowledgeable individuals we pride ourselves in offering the best care to our clients and their pets.

About you: We’re looking for someone with great customer service skills, empathy, and ability to handle emotional situations. Experience in a customer‑facing role, both in person and over the phone, is a plus. You should be passionate about helping people and animals, have solid IT skills, and be able to record data accurately. Attention to detail and being a good team player are important. Knowledge of the veterinary industry is a bonus but not mandatory. This exciting position will require you to work at different sites, therefore a car is essential. You could be asked to cover any one of our seven sites: Brighton, Portslade, Southwick, Lancing, Broadwater, Tarring and Durrington.

Work pattern: You will work 24 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, no Saturdays. Shifts vary between 8 am and 7 pm across our various sites.

Salary: Up to £15,290.83 DOE
