We are hiring! As an Animal Care Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. The role might include some branch work (Cheadle Hulme and Woodley, Main hospital Poynton).
Responsibilities
- Assisting Veterinary Surgeons and RVN’s with patients and adhering to the patient’s needs.
- Manual handling and caring for animals with empathy and compassion.
- Focusing on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the practice.
- Cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
- Running laboratory tests and packaging samples.
About The Rota
This is a part-time permanent role working on average 22 hours, 2 × 10‑hour shifts per week – Thursday and Friday and 1:4 Saturday 8‑hour shift.
