Spring Lodge Vets is looking for a full-time Veterinary Care Assistant to join our fantastic team! This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career within the veterinary industry. Driving company vans is an essential part of this role, so you must hold a full, manual UK driver's licence.
Responsibilities
- Animal care duties such as cleaning, patient handling, and general husbandry
- Laboratory tasks and sample processing
- Driving responsibilities as needed
- Client-facing interactions, providing excellent customer service
- Working across all 6 of our fantastic sites
- Reception duties
- Answering phone calls and handling inquiries
- Scheduling appointments and managing bookings
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records

We’re looking for a compassionate and attentive person who brings enthusiasm and a can-do mindset to the role. You should be resourceful, self-motivated, and skilled at managing your time and resources efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills and a true passion for animal care and welfare are a must. Most importantly, you should be committed to going above and beyond to deliver outstanding care to our patients.
Your shift pattern
You will work 40 hours per week, covering Monday - Friday between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, including 1:4 Saturday mornings on a rota. You will be required to work across all 6 of our sites. No nights or bank holidays.
