About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our small animal practice in Wilmslow. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, supportive practice where you will be fully involved in medical and surgical nursing, as well as nurse-led consultations. You will have the chance to work with a wide variety of cases, and our visiting surgical and imaging specialists allow for exposure to a broader clinical experience. There are no out-of-hours shifts, and the practice is open from 8:00am to 6:30pm.
About The Practice
Our practice is located in beautiful Wilmslow, offering the perfect balance of countryside charm and town convenience, with Manchester just 30 minutes away by train. We are a first-opinion practice with a passionate, friendly team who are committed to providing high standards of veterinary care.
The Team
You will join a dedicated nursing team of six experienced RVNs, with special interests in behaviour, feline medicine, consulting, wound management, nutrition, and anaesthesia. We have six vets (two full-time, four part-time), and the team works closely together to deliver the best care for our patients. We value collaboration, support, and regular social interaction to keep the team connected.
Rota
- Alternate weekly shifts: Early 07:45β16:15 / Late 10:00β18:30
- Flexible 4-day week options can be discussed
- Weekend rota: 1 Saturday morning in 4, 08:30β12:30, with a TOIL half day given the following week
