Veterinary Receptionist – Parkvets (IVC Evidensia)

Full‑Time – 40 hours per week – Multi‑site role – £25,484.71 per year DOE

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcoming clients and creating a positive, reassuring experience when they visit our practices.
  • Supporting our clinical teams to ensure the practice runs smoothly.
  • Using practice systems along with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Travelling between practices to provide consistent support across our branches.
  • Continually learning and developing your skills as our services evolve.

You’ll be an important part of the client journey – often the first face they see and the supportive presence they’ll remember.

About You

  • We’re looking for someone who is calm, compassionate and people‑focused.
  • Able to support clients during what can sometimes be emotional or stressful situations.
  • Organised and adaptable.
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment with changing priorities.
  • A strong communicator.
  • Clear, patient and confident speaking with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work across our branches.
  • A full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
  • Flexible with working patterns, including weekends, as part of a rota.
  • Experience in animal care or veterinary settings is helpful – but a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are what really matter.

Working Hours

This is a full‑time role of 40 hours per week, scheduled across 7 days on a rotating pattern.

Practice opening times vary, and some branches close at lunchtime.
