Rowe Veterinary Hospital is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to help support in the running of the fully equipped in-house laboratory, working alongside another lab technician with the support of our clinical team. The role involves handling and processing samples from our 1st opinion branches, hospital and referral department. We will give full training for this role and will always encourage further learning and CPD where possible.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples and reagents according to established protocols
- Quality assurance
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and microscope work
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Accurately record results and maintain laboratory documentation

Shift pattern
This is a part-time role working 34 hours per week, covering 4/5 days. We can be flexible to suit school hours for the right candidate.
