We’re looking for an enthusiastic, team-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join our small animal team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract providing maternity cover on a part‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive and developing practice, with a role that offers a rewarding mix of consulting and surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality patient care, including general practice consulting and surgery.
- Support learning, collaboration, and professional development within a whole‑team approach.
- Work 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule across Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and a 1 in 6 Saturday morning rota.
- Maintain clinical standards using digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, in‑house laboratory facilities, and laparoscopic surgery.
Qualifications
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in small animal practice.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care and continuous learning.
- Experience in a supportive, inclusive working environment.
- Full membership of the BVA and VRS fees paid.
