We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team. You will ideally work across 2 sites (1066 and Bexhill) however we are flexible and you can be based at one if preferred. We have a company car to travel across sites.
Location & Practice: Nestled in East Sussex, our practices are surrounded by countryside and coastline, offering an idyllic lifestyle with access to arts, sports, and leisure activities. We are a well-established practice serving the Hastings and Bexhill area, providing a varied caseload with high client numbers. We work with local charities and are part of the RSPCA Neutering Scheme for cats and bull-breeds.
Salary & Benefits:

Practice & Equipment: Our clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and laboratory equipment to support your work. We support clinicians' professional growth and encourage CPD, certifications, and postgraduate qualifications. Sussex Coast Vets offers digital X-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, blood analysers and more.
Responsibilities:
- Consultations

Scheduling & Work-Life Balance: You will ideally work 4 or 5 days per week, with hours varying from 8:30 am – 7:00 pm, plus a Saturday rota (8:00 am – 12 pm), usually 1 in 4 weeks. We're happy to discuss shift patterns to accommodate your preferences. There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday duties.
Team & Culture: We are a kind, friendly and fun team led by a Practice Manager. Our vets have a wealth of experience, including an Orthopaedic certificate holder. We have a team of 3 dedicated Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, and 2 Support team members. We hold regular team meetings to foster open ideas and collaboration.
