Role details

As part of our twilight team, you will provide high-quality nursing care across a wide range of first opinion and referral cases. This is a varied, hands-on position where you will support patients across multiple disciplines and play a key role in the smooth running of the hospital during the evening period.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Covering nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imaging
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and sedation for patients undergoing diagnostics, surgery and rechecks
  • Assisting in theatre
  • Supporting first opinion and referral cases, acting as a key point of contact for clients, including organising admissions and discharges
  • Delivering excellent inpatient care within our wards
  • Supporting the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency cases

You will gain exposure to orthopaedic, soft tissue, ophthalmology and internal medicine cases, working with advanced imaging facilities including MRI and CT.

Working pattern

Full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 5 pm to 2 am, with a one-hour unpaid break. There is a shared bank holiday rota, currently averaging two per year. We are happy to consider part-time applications and flexible working requests.

About The Hospital

Our purpose-built hospital operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, offering advanced treatment options and specialist referral services. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team environment where clinical standards and patient welfare are at the heart of everything we do.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a confident and compassionate RVN who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospital setting.
