Are you an experienced RVN looking for a fresh opportunity in a fun, supportive, and skilled team? Overdale Veterinary Centre is now hiring a Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal (FTC) on a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. This role is based in Buxton, Derbyshire.
About Our Practice
Overdale Veterinary Centre is based in the picturesque spa town of Buxton, nestled in the Peak District. The clinic aims to provide a high standard of clinical care to clients with a collaborative, supportive team. The team includes Clinical Director, vets, nurses, and support staff across the practice, with dedicated facilities including operating theatre, imaging suite, in-house laboratory, and cat/dog kennels.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a warm, confident RVN who is experienced and able to complete consults, monitor anaesthesia, place IVs, take bloods, and provide inpatient care.
Working Hours
Full-time permanent role, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, with a mix of early and late shifts and Saturday rota. There is no on-call or Bank Holiday work required.

Requirements (Qualifications/Experience)
Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in small animal practice and competency in anaesthesia monitoring, IV administration, phlebotomy, and inpatient care.
