Overview
Registered Veterinary Nurse – Cogges Veterinary Surgery, Witney. Up to £33,000 DOE. Full or Part Time – 40 hours per week.

We’re looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated team at Cogges Veterinary Surgery in Witney. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, close client relationships, and working within a supportive, family-feel environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing the ops diary
- Taking radiographs
- Monitoring anaesthetics
- Caring for inpatients
- Providing clinical advice to clients
- Supporting the vet and reception teams
- Running nurse clinics
Work Schedule
- Full-time: 5 x 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
- No out-of-hours duties required
- 1 in 5 weekends, compensated with TOIL
- 3 early finishes at 4pm each week
- Part-time applicants also welcome
About The Practice
Cogges Veterinary Surgery is a well-established, single-site small animal practice that’s been part of the Witney community since 1993. We joined IVC Evidensia in 2019 and continue to provide excellent standards of care in a friendly, welcoming environment. We’re fully equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house Idexx laboratory machines to support a wide range of clinical work. Our loyal client base has been built over decades, and we’re proud of the lasting relationships we’ve developed with them. Witney is a thriving market town surrounded by beautiful countryside, with great links to Oxford and London – ideal for those who want a great work-life balance and quality of life.
