We’re looking for a Small Animal Vet to join our friendly, supportive team in a busy, well-established practice located just 10 minutes from the A38 and Plymouth. The practice is ideally situated for coast, moorland and Plymouth city so whether you want to spend your spare time surfing, sailing, swimming, hiking, shopping or nightclubbing it is all here and we have the friends to keep you company at hand.
We’re happy to discuss full time or part time hours to suit the right candidate. A shared rota that is fairly divided with a good mix that can be adapted to fit in with special requests at short notice if needed. No OOH, just one Saturday morning in 4/5 that a half day can be taken or added into your weekly hours.
Our single-site practice has a close-knit team with long-standing staff and a genuinely welcoming, family-like atmosphere. We’re fully equipped, and we strongly encourage career development and clinical freedom. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, with excellent support from nearby referral centres when needed. You’ll also be backed by our amazing, experienced nursing team, most of whom have been with us for years and provide outstanding support every day.

We're a mix of 6 part time young and not so young Vets all working as a team. Our ideal candidate will be a vet with an interest/experience in surgery to help support the 2 of our team. We strongly support CPD and we offer a funded CPD allowance, regular local CPD events hosted by nearby practice and full encouragement to pursue your areas of interest.
