As part of Central Functions, you’ll help support over 2,500 practices across 20 countries, enabling operational excellence, innovation, and strategic delivery across the business.
The Role
The Regional H&S Manager supports the Head of Health & Safety and the National Veterinary H&S Manager to implement H&S policy, systems, and training across a defined region. This is a hands-on role working closely with Area Directors, Practice Managers, and local teams to ensure legal compliance, continuous improvement, and safe day‑to‑day operations.
As our organisation grows, we are enhancing our H&S function to become more proactive, collaborative, and strategic. This role is key to strengthening our approach and supporting colleagues across the South of England.
What you'll do
- Act as the regional H&S lead, supporting local H&S representatives and raising awareness across the business
- Drive implementation of the H&S Policy and Framework within the region
- Support health & safety management systems to ensure safe, efficient workplace operations
- Conduct targeted H&S audits and support incident investigations
- Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and guidance
- Analyse incident data to reduce risks and prevent accidents
- Ensure compliance through effective risk assessments, procedures, and training
- Liaise with regional teams and safety representatives
- Support H&S briefings and training activities
- Feed regional insights into central H&S functions to support a consistent national approach
What you'll bring
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Experience in a multi-site, customer-facing or clinical environment
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation
- Skilled in risk assessment, auditing, and incident investigation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
