Overview
Acorn Veterinary Surgery is a thriving 2-site practice with state-of-the-art equipment including an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray and an operating theatre. The main site is on Portland Road in Hove, with a branch in Hangleton. The team includes 4 vets and 7 nurses across both sites. Shifts at the branch site would be sole charge with a nurse, supporting a close-knit community practice. The practice is located near local attractions and is a short walk from the seafront; it is within easy reach of the South Downs and has good transport links to London.
Responsibilities
- Work across a varied first opinion caseload, including nursing consultations, in-patients, anaesthesia and dentals.
- Develop skills in your preferred area of expertise where possible.
Role Details
This is an exciting part-time position, offering 20-30 hours per week. Working hours are 8:00–18:30 for 2 or 3 days per week. There is no out-of-hours work; weekend commitments include only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
