About the Practice
Crossroads Veterinary Practice is a thriving three-site small animal practice serving High Wycombe, Hazlemere and Watlington. You’ll split time mainly between High Wycombe and your nearest branch, with occasional cover across all sites. Branch work is sole charge, with a supportive wider team always just a phone call away.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits and small furries, with a slight consult bias.
- Perform routine surgical procedures and a broad range of first-opinion work, with occasional ECC cases.
- Develop orthopaedic interests or certificates as appropriate, with in-house capabilities to support case work-ups and continuity of care.
- Work across multiple sites with the aim of delivering high-quality clinical care and strong clinical backing.
- Utilise modern equipment to support medicine and patient care.
Working Hours & Schedule
This is a full-time 40-hour role over four days, with start times of 8–8:30am and finishes between 6–7pm. Part-time applications are welcome. Weekends are shared fairly on a 3:7 rota (pro-rata for part-time). As a Vets Now host practice there is no OOH or on-call, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Our main High Wycombe site is a spacious, modern practice with separate cat and dog waiting areas, four consult rooms, a large dispensary, three prep areas, a theatre with two operating tables, an ultrasound suite, IDEXX lab, and well-equipped staff facilities including a wellbeing room and kitchen.
Team & Development
You’ll join a welcoming team of 8 vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 2 PCAs, supported by an experienced reception, admin and management team. With certificate holders in Surgery and Veterinary Business Management, a strong mentoring culture and support for further qualifications, this is a collaborative and encouraging environment.
