Salary up to £70,000 DOE, up to £2,000 relocation allowance plus up to £2,000 welcome bonus. Full Time Veterinary Surgeon, Lady Dane Veterinary Centres, Faversham and Whitstable.

We are looking for a compassionate, full-time vet, confident in consultations, case work-ups, general surgery and sole charge to deliver excellence in care for our patients and clients. We are fortunate to have a friendly, supportive and experienced team of veterinary surgeons, qualified nurses, a VCA, receptionists and a practice manager, some of whom have worked with us for over two decades.

Our Faversham practice is a purpose-built, spacious site with large consult rooms, separate dog and cat waiting areas, ample parking, and is located next to a large pet store. It is easily located from the A2 with easy links to Canterbury, London and coastal destinations. Our Whitstable practice is a sole vet clinic and has been recently refurbished. It is located only a few minutes' walk from the beach and many shops and restaurants. The town hosts a famous annual Oyster Festival.

Our clinical equipment includes in-practice Idexx laboratories, microscopes, woods lamps, digital x-ray with floating tables and AI program to support you in diagnosis, K-Laser, multiparameter machines, syringe driver, infusion pumps, ultrasonic dental equipment, dental x-ray, ultrasounds, dopplers, tonometer, cautery and an endoscope.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate veterinary care through consultations and case work-ups.
  • Perform general surgery and sole charge duties as required.
  • Collaborate with a friendly, experienced team including qualified nurses, a VCA, receptionists and a practice manager.
  • Engage in case discussions during clinical meetings and contribute to a safe, supportive environment for colleagues.
