Chipping Norton Vets are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Animal Nursing Assistant to join their dedicated small animal team at Begbroke Veterinary Surgery, conveniently located between Woodstock and North Oxford. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following tasks:
- Assisting the nursing team with the setup of surgical procedures
- Providing support by holding patients for the veterinarians and nurses
- Cleaning and maintaining clinical areas
- Organizing and putting away supplies
- Restocking and managing the cleaning and packaging of sterile equipment and theatre attire
About Begbroke Veterinary Surgery: Begbroke Veterinary Surgery opened in January 2020 and is a new division of Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital, providing consultations and routine diagnostics and surgery. We have a highly motivated, friendly team who are looking to welcome someone who can offer valuable support to our excellent services.
The Perfect Fit: A dedicated individual who is hardworking, dependable, and proactive, with a positive, solution-focused attitude. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A people-oriented person with strong client service abilities and a genuine passion for working with animals.
Shift Pattern: You will work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday, with shifts ranging between the hours of 9am and 6pm. You may also be required to work overtime on Saturdays between 9 am - 1 pm.
