We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon looking to progress here at Alexander Vets. Whether it’s your first role as a Head Vet or you simply seek a fresh challenge, we would love to hear from you. If you are passionate about veterinary leadership and are currently a Head Vet or Veterinary Surgeon and want to make a meaningful impact in our community this role could be perfect for you.

Day to day duties would see the successful candidate overseeing the general running of the practice with involvement in clinical work, operating and consulting. You will also work in tandem with the Practice Manager and Practice Director. We are looking for someone who will work alongside our experienced vets and give guidance and support within all clinical aspects of practice life.

This is a full-time position, working a 4 day week with 1:4 Saturday mornings only. There are no OOH requirements.

Our practice has all the latest lab, X-ray, laser and Ultrasound equipment. Preventative health care and case continuity are important to us meaning you will build up a great relationship with both clients and their pets.

Our great team: We are a friendly, close and inclusive team that likes to promote a supportive culture. The practice consists of 2 vets, 3 RVNs, a soon to be SVN and a dedicated reception team.
