You’ll enjoy a diverse caseload, covering a full range of procedures including:
- soft tissue surgery
- orthopaedics (including TPLO)
- spinal surgery
- neurology
- ophthalmology
- dentals
- dermatology

We know that delivering great care starts with feeling supported and balanced. Our full-time rota is based on 4 days per week (variable hours) with a share in our 1:6 weekend rota. There are no out-of-hours or on-call duties, as we work in partnership with Vets Now for emergency cover. We’re genuinely flexible – whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, or a bespoke rota, we’ll tailor your schedule to suit your lifestyle and career stage.
Our purpose-built, RCVS-accredited hospital in South Belfast is designed to deliver the highest standard of care. With over 60 years of trusted service, we’re proud to be a long-established, progressive practice offering an excellent working environment and facilities that rival referral centres. We are a small animal-only hospital, supported by a visiting cardiology specialist and in-house certificate holders in both Surgery and Medicine.
Our facilities include:
- 5 consultation rooms and 2 surgical theatres
- State-of-the-art diagnostic suite with CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray
- Full in-house laboratory, including haematology and biochemistry
- Endoscopy, chemotherapy, and blood transfusion capabilities
- Dedicated dental and ophthalmology facilities
- 24-hour in-house patient care provided by our highly skilled nursing team
- Large on-site car park and full disability access
At Cedar Grove, you’ll join a close-knit, collaborative team of nine Veterinary Surgeons, 15 exceptionally skilled RVNs (many with advanced qualifications), and a strong team of support staff. Our culture is built on clinical excellence, mentorship, and wellbeing. With certificate holders in Surgery and Medicine and others currently pursuing advanced qualifications, we actively encourage professional growth.
