While our preference is for a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon, we are also happy to consider applications from Small Animal Vets who feel they would be a great fit. Working across our two branches, you will enjoy the variety and scope of cases that mixed practice brings, with the full support of an experienced and collaborative team.
Rota patterns that work for you: The full time hours for this role consists of 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with a 1 in 5 out of hours rota (1 weeknight a week and 1 in 5 weekends) with no additional Saturday Mornings and a Day Off in lieu after your weekend on call! Full or Part-Time hours considered, however essential to join our 1 in 5 Out of Hours Rota.
We offer a flexible approach to working hours as we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance. Many of our staff members already take advantage of our flexi working approach, and although ideally, we would prefer a full time Veterinary Surgeon to fill the role; for the right candidate we would consider part time hours.
About Us
Both our branches are stocked with the usual equipment including Digital X-ray & Ultrasound. But we are also proud to have a Ovacyte Faecal Analyser, Stance Analyser, PRP therapy kit, Brand New Bull Fertility testing equipment and Motorised Equine Dental Equipment among other things. Across both practices we have a strong team of 6 Vets, supported by 3 registered veterinary nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse and a Practice Manager.
We are a close-knit team that enjoy social outings, as well as the time we spend together in practice, and have a very friendly client base! Aberfeldy and Pitlochry are a brilliant base to access the beautiful Scottish Highlands as well as offering plenty of local walks, close by Munros and a great area for anybody who enjoys outdoor water sports such as Kayaking and Paddleboarding.
