Overview

Our client, a growing eCommerce organisation operating internationally, is seeking an experienced NetSuite OneWorld Functional Consultant to evaluate, optimise and enhance their existing NetSuite environment. The successful consultant will act as a trusted advisor to the business, assessing the current system configuration, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and leading a series of projects designed to streamline business processes through better utilisation of NetSuite functionality. Alongside optimisation work, the consultant will support the business in documenting processes, improving user adoption and developing internal capability through training and knowledge transfer. They will also play a key role in evaluating the suitability of NetSuite as a future ERP platform for the group's Netherlands-based parent company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the current NetSuite OneWorld environment and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes through enhanced use of existing and additional NetSuite functionality.
  • Lead and deliver multiple optimisation projects across Finance and wider business operations.
  • Review and improve key finance processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable NetSuite solutions.
  • Produce detailed process documentation, user guides and best practice materials for future reference.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops to upskill existing users and increase adoption of system capabilities.
  • Support change management initiatives and help drive process consistency across the organisation.
  • Assess the suitability of NetSuite as a potential ERP and accounting platform for the group's Netherlands-based parent company.
  • Provide recommendations regarding system architecture, implementation approach and operational fit for the wider group structure.
  • Collaborate with teams in both the UK and the Netherlands to support alignment of systems and processes.

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant within complex NetSuite OneWorld environments.
  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite Financials and multi-entity structures.
  • Proven track record of NetSuite optimisation, enhancement and business process improvement projects.
  • Experience reviewing and redesigning finance processes, particularly Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
  • Ability to assess ERP suitability and provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills, including the creation of process maps, SOPs and training materials.
  • Experience delivering user training and supporting organisational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within eCommerce, retail or product-based organisations.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations or international business structures.
  • Exposure to European finance operations and multi-currency environments.
  • Experience advising businesses on ERP selection and transformation programmes.
