A rapidly growing international business is seeking an experienced NetSuite Consultant to support and optimise its NetSuite environment following a recent global go-live. The organisation operates across the UK, Germany, Austria, and the US, with key finance and operations teams based in the North West and a growing US presence.

Following a NetSuite implementation that went live in January, the business is now entering a critical post-go-live phase focused on stabilisation, optimisation, user adoption, and future development planning. This is a flexible contract opportunity suited to a senior, hands-on NetSuite professional who can work closely with stakeholders across finance, IT, operations, procurement, stock, and logistics to identify issues, prioritise improvements, and implement practical long-term solutions.

The Role

The consultant will act as both a technical and functional business partner, supporting the business through a growing backlog of NetSuite issues, enhancement requests, and process improvement opportunities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, triaging, and resolving post go-live NetSuite issues
  • Advising stakeholders on best-practice NetSuite solutions
  • Supporting finance optimisation across month-end, OTC, P2P, R2R, approvals, invoicing, and purchasing processes
  • Delivering hands-on configuration changes, workflow updates, form/template amendments, and system improvements
  • Working closely with finance, IT, manufacturing, operations, procurement, and logistics teams
  • Helping identify “unknown” opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Supporting user adoption, coaching, and training where required
  • Assisting with future phase-two development initiatives and longer-term system roadmap planning

The environment is currently relatively out-of-the-box, with limited customisation in place, although the business has multi-region and multi-language requirements across the UK, Germany, Austria, Europe, and the US.

Required Experience

The successful consultant will ideally have:

  • Strong NetSuite consulting experience, ideally 10+ years
  • Proven experience supporting businesses post NetSuite go-live
  • Strong functional finance process knowledge
  • Experience within product-based, stock, warehousing, logistics, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing-led environments
  • Ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and translate business challenges into scalable solutions
  • Experience delivering hands-on NetSuite configuration and optimisation work
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and consultative approach
  • Experience supporting cross-functional international businesses

Highly desirable:

  • MRP or manufacturing process experience
  • Exposure to med-tech, pharma, therapeutics, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries
  • Architecture or solution design experience
  • Experience supporting multinational NetSuite environments
