Position Summary
ITW Construction Offsite Europe is seeking a dynamic leader to join their fast-paced operations team. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and team building skills. Responsibilities include managing employees performing activities in multiple operational disciplines & functions, developing and executing policies and procedures for compliance, and developing organisational and technical strategies in line with short-term and long-term business requirements. The role involves building and developing a customer-focused operation resulting in continuous improvement activities and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain strong strategic relationships with housebuilders, architects, engineering consultancies, and offsite manufacturers.
- Create and strengthen partnerships that influence specification, standard details, and early-stage design decisions.
- Develop effective routes to market by identifying key decision-makers and influencers across the housebuilding and design value chain.
- Identify and unlock commercial opportunities through partnerships, framework engagements, early involvement, and specification-led solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical and innovation partner to external stakeholders, supporting long-term collaboration and repeat opportunity generation.
- Support Connectors’ growth initiatives, contributing to 3% annual CBI yield targets.
- Lead research using customer-back insights to capture qualitative feedback and drive product range growth, focusing on the Floors, Roofs & Walls segmentation.
- Prioritise opportunities in line with Cullen Connectors’ Strategic Intent, focusing on Growth Levers, Defending the 80’s, and New Technology.
- Develop research plans for opportunity projects in collaboration with product managers.
- Gather market intelligence to qualify opportunities and support Offsite’s pipeline screening process.
CBI Process
- Build strong external partnerships through discovery initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct pain point analyses, system discovery sessions, process mapping, and competitor benchmarking.
- Collect market intelligence across the value chain, from design offices to on-site installers.
- Run surveys, external research, and roundtables with key influencers (e.g., housebuilders, NHBC, Homebond).
- Translate findings into actionable insights and business cases.
Experience (Essential)

- Problem-Solving – Ability to translate unclear feedback into actionable opportunities; identifying root causes behind industry challenges.
- Technical Understanding – Strong ability to grasp technical concepts, workflows, and environments, translating feedback into meaningful product improvement ideas.
- House Design Knowledge – Understanding of residential house design, construction methods, and design-stage decision-making processes.
- Industry Experience – Proven experience working with or engaging housebuilders, architects, and engineering firms, with an understanding of specification, design coordination, and commercial drivers.
- Adaptability & Initiative – Comfortable in varied environments (sites, factories, offices); proactive, flexible, and eager to learn.

Experience (Desired)
- Minimum HNC in Structural, Civil or Building Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
