Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time Professional Services Consultant role based in London. We are looking for a Front Office Professional Services Consultant to join our growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strong analytical thinking with client-facing consulting and technology-driven problem solving. You will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the delivery of client projects by successfully managing multiple tasks which have been delegated with a high degree of autonomy.
- Working effectively within a project management structure, managing tasks within the time frames prescribed and ensuring deliverables are of high quality.
- Managing small client projects with assistance, escalating appropriately when there are risks to deliverable timeframes.
- Using your programming skills to provide technical solutions to client requests and issues.
- Working across the spectrum of partner products to enact configuration and customisation requests.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from existing sources into new systems.
- Working in close collaboration with clients and partners to ensure solutions are delivered which meet the needs of the business and are robust and scalable from a technology perspective.
- Delivering all work based on agreed best practice and providing training/handover for clients on delivered work, where applicable.
- Liaising with client business users and IT teams to define detailed requirements and produce functional specifications for report or development requests.
- Documenting all work and communications to a high professional standard.
What we’re looking for
About you:
- An excellent educational background, with a minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM or business related subject.
- Prior experience in a client-facing capacity and a desire to engage and work directly with clients to achieve an exceptional result.
- Knowledge of the Private Capital Markets (including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure investment).
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with both a technical and non-technical user base effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to understand business problems and design an appropriate technical solution.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to multi-task / balance multiple parallel work streams independently.
- Enjoy researching unfamiliar technologies and practices.
- Ability to travel – including abroad.
