This is a fixed term contract for 12 months. Workplace: White City, London - 3 days a week in the office. The role Global Partnerships is the international distribution arm of ITV Studios, responsible for selling shows from our catalogue of 90,000 hours to network partners and streamers all over the world, as well as beyond the screen into digital, social, merchandise, sponsorship, events, licensing, gaming, and more.
Within Global Partnerships, we have an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the EMEA Sales team as Senior Sales Manager, Unscripted DACH & CEE. With a growing portfolio of premium reality, entertainment and factual brands, we are seeking a driven, innovative and creative thinker to lead in maximising the value of our unscripted catalogue within the German and Eastern European markets. From iconic global brands such as Love Island, The Voice and Hell’s Kitchen, to premium blue chip natural history and factual hits, A Year on Planet Earth and 24 Hours in Police Custody, the successful candidate will be representing some of ITV Studios biggest brands and therefore must have a keen interest in, and proven experience selling, unscripted and factual content. This role is focused on tape sales only.
Main responsibilities
- Drive Revenue: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for unscripted programmes in your assigned territory.
- Manage Key Accounts: Nurture and grow relationships with a portfolio of key clients, including national broadcasters, regional and local VOD services, and digital platforms.
- Negotiate & Close Deals: Lead negotiations for sales, from initial pitch to contract signature, with a capacity for entrepreneurial thinking to develop innovative, creative and revenue maximising solutions for a successful slate of factual content.
- Identify New Opportunities: Proactively identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and potential new clients to expand ITV's footprint.
- Sales Forecasting: In discussion with the regional VP Sales DACH & CEE support the Global Content team with new content investments by reviewing content pitches in a timely manner and providing considered sales projections for the DACH & CEE region.
- Collaborate Internally: Work closely with the acquisitions, legal, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth deal execution, delivery, and partner support.
- Strategic Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasting and regular, insightful reports on market activity, competitor intelligence, and client feedback.
- Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent ITV Studios and our unscripted catalogue at major international content markets (such as MIPCOM and London Screenings) and client-facing events.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven Sales Record: Demonstrable experience in content sales within the international television industry, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Unscripted Expertise: A deep passion for and knowledge of the unscripted television landscape, with a keen eye on buyer’s content needs.
- I.T: Familiarity with Apple, Microsoft Office, Google Suite applications and Salesforce.
- Existing relationships: with key content buyers (broadcasters, streamers, digital players) in the DACH & CEE region. (Desirable)
- Fluency: in a second language relevant to the territory (Desirable)

- Resilience: Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced global market.
