You will be right in the heart of the action, providing essential support to our Assistant Directors and ensuring seamless communication between the set and the Production Office. From guiding cast and Supporting Artists, anticipating needs, and distributing vital info, to zipping between locations, providing refreshments, and maintaining set etiquette - you will be the ultimate go-to person, ensuring a smooth, high-energy shoot and being a crucial part of the team that brings this iconic show to life!
Skills you will need (minimum criteria):
- A wide range of experience working, preferably on drama, in the capacity of a Production Runner on a TV Broadcast Production.
- Experience working on a TV Drama is advantageous.
- Experience working with on-screen Talent and Supporting Artists on a TV Drama is advantageous.
- Work with discretion and respect our requirement for utmost confidentiality - experience working with confidential information.
- A good working knowledge of production schedules, call sheets and communicating via radio.
- Ability to work under pressure, work long and unsociable hours in both a studio and location environment and be prepared to change your working pattern at short notice.
- A high degree of organisational and administration skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to take a variety of approaches to dealing with issues and problems.
- Ability to lead a team effectively.
- The ability to work under pressure and long hours.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions under pressure, effectively re-prioritising workload as necessary.
- A flexible problem-solving approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work within a team.
- High degree of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of different working hours e.g. artistes, supporting artistes, children, crew.
