ITV Anglia is looking for an On-Screen Journalist to join our news team based in Northamptonshire. This role requires a proven track record of delivering high-quality journalism on television, ITVX, and online.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in journalism with excellent story-telling ability.
- Knowledge of broadcast regulation and the law.
- Experience in using digital media to enhance journalism reach.
- Self-discipline and a strong work ethic to work remotely.
- First-class communication and team-working skills.
- Experience in self-shooting, laptop editing, and live reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Generating original and creative ideas for news stories.
- Researching and developing story ideas for on-air and online output.
- Maintaining a wide range of relevant contacts.
- Ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion in news coverage.
- Sourcing interesting contributors from the community.
