The team operates in a fast-paced and changing environment, continuously improving processes to transition our data capabilities toward proactive insights.
We’re looking for a Reporting & Data Analyst to join the team on an 18 month fixed term contract. Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining regular and ad hoc reporting for the People Teams, alongside designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards in conjunction with strategic priorities.
- Supporting the continued development, optimisation, and strategic rollout of the Oracle Fusion AI Data Platform (FAIDP)-powered People Dashboard to encourage wider adoption.
- Leveraging FAIDP capabilities to transition traditional reporting toward proactive, AI-driven insights and enabling line managers to self-serve on the data required in their roles.
- Maintaining strict data governance, quality metrics, and standards for People data and reporting, ensuring consistent use and measurement of key KPIs.
- Collaborating with end users to identify downstream data needs (e.g., rostering, benefits, and survey systems) and opportunities for improved data management.
- Proposing system improvements to maintain absolute data integrity while presenting complex data trends and analysis in a clear, business-understandable format.
- Recognising and escalating potential risks or data issues in a timely manner to support broader programmes and activities.
- Delivering technical training and guidance to colleagues on system and reporting-related queries to support long-term self-service models.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Solid experience of working with Oracle Fusion and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
- Proven practical experience working with SQL.
- An in-depth understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and handling sensitive information.
- A strong understanding of quality management, including data standards, regulations, and applicable policies and procedures.
- An organised approach to documentation and recording good practice processes, with experience using Google Suite (including Google Sheets).
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively translate complex data analysis to various stakeholders.
- A continuous problem-solving mentality that naturally works to improve operational processes at every opportunity.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining flexible and resilient.
- A reliable team member who contributes to both individual development goals and the team's wider objectives.
- A resilient individual with a strong work ethic and an organised approach to a busy workload.
Please note, on occasion, we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date. We’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if interested.
