The team
Our ITV Commercial team is responsible for bringing in the £2bn worth of advertising that helps fund ITV's programming. However, our Commercial team isn’t just about advertising sales jobs, with an ever-changing marketplace and a multitude of new platforms just waiting for you to tap into, selling TV and online advertising has never been so exciting.
The role
As an Activation Sales Assistant you will manage airtime deals across our family of channels and the ITV Hub. Every advert is important to us and so we are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service to a portfolio of agencies and direct advertisers ensuring that campaigns are set up correctly and delivered as per the deal. You will work closely with the Business Development team, attending agency meetings and occasionally working across different locations as required. This is a great introduction into the world of advertising and a fantastic opportunity to secure a career within the largest commercial television network in the UK.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience within a sales/customer service environment
- Strong with numbers and reviewing data on excel
- Grade C or above in maths or equivalent is essential but qualified by experience will be covered throughout the screening process
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Excellent customer service skills with a confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and meet all set deadlines and targets
- Any qualifications in Media or Advertising are desirable but not essential
- A media background is advantageous
Supporting the team, you'll help to book, administer and sell advertising campaigns for our impressive portfolio of clients. The adverts you work on will be delivered through a variety of channels and seen by a vast audience. Based in our Activation team the role offers lots of variety, from monitoring price and efficiency targets to keeping an eye on booking and copy deadlines to ensure that ITV PLC meets its commitments to advertisers. Working closely with the Regional Business Development, Trading and Partnership teams to manage our reputation for excellent customer service, innovation, proactivity and ideas among agencies and advertisers.
