Workplace: White City, London - 3 days a week in the office. This is a 6-12 months fixed term contract.

The role involves identifying, evaluating and executing critical new growth opportunities for Zoo 55. Sitting within Global Partnerships & Zoo 55, working closely with ITV’s Central Strategy Team, this high impact role will be accountable for how Zoo 55 can proactively adapt to outperform market dynamics. The successful candidate will deliver actionable data-led strategies based on data and qualified insights, and lead specific strategic projects to drive meaningful revenue growth for the business. They will be highly curious with an analytical and strategic mindset, passionate about the media & digital landscape, a concise storyteller, excellent presenter and comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.

  • Business Development Programmes Zoo 55
    • Develop organic strategies for Zoo 55 that align with business goals, target audience segmentation, and brand positioning
    • Support non-organic growth plans, including M&A evaluation and other corporate development opportunities
    • Programme Management of key projects (e.g. M&E sales integration, AI, Data and Tracking)
    • Framework for UK label relations and IP/3rd party partners including financial reporting
    • Special Projects - evaluating and quick, test and learn programme
    • Conduct in-depth digital market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and potential opportunities across various media channels.
    • Monitor and analyze performance data using analytics tools to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  • Leadership/Exec/Board Papers
    • Board Papers (narrative and substance): Zoo 55
    • Oversee Zoo 55 5 Year Plan
    • Framework & co-ordination of Budget, HY and Quarterly updates
    • Ad hoc projects that deliver growth to the business

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Experience working in a strategy role at a top-tier Strategy Consultancy (e.g. MBB or similar)
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Business and analytical acumen – proven ability to derive deep insights from vast quantities of data and understand business implications and trends
  • A knack for thinking strategically about business issues – including innovative leveraging of data to glean insights, and crafting meaningful deliverables
  • Experience with data and analytics – experience working with analytics/business intelligence teams to answer business questions with data, and drawing insights and recommendations from data
  • Possess or quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the media, broadcasting, advertising and online space

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):

  • Strong interpersonal skills experience, working directly with mid-senior levels in large organisations
  • Proven ability to self-motivate, work independently and work collaboratively
  • Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills
  • Skilled at balancing macro-level strategic planning with hands-on, granular data analysis
  • Media industry experience preferred
