Workplace: Office/Studio Based, London. In this varied and busy role, you’ll be working across Lorraine, Loose Women and This Morning. You’ll be involved in the booking of newsmaking guests and exclusives, as well as both serious and light-hearted human interest stories. You’ll need to be a tenacious self-starter with an impressive contacts book. You will have a journalistic background and excellent knowledge of current affairs, especially of the issues that matter to our viewers.

You’ll need to have an excellent grasp of the Ofcom Broadcasting Code and be proficient in overcoming legal hurdles to produce compliant items. You’ll be a team player, working collaboratively with other members of the Newsdesk, as well as with different departments across the programmes. You must have a flexible approach to work as you will be working to a shift pattern which will include weekends.
