This role is responsible for the planning and delivery of 'VOD media' - targeted trailers that promote ITV content on ITVX. It involves utilising our valuable media inventory with a blend of audience targeting. This ranges from broad, upper funnel targeting through to personalised, one-to-one recommendations in the lower funnel, ensuring our millions of viewers have a relevant viewing experience that informs their next watch. Our VOD media activity supports wider campaign and channel objectives that contribute to measurable marketing and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside other marketing, media and creative roles to deliver a video media plan which drives desired outcomes.
- Use specialist media channel expertise and knowledge to enhance the strategic plans provided by the media strategists.
- Act as the VOD media expert in or outside of agile campaign squads, offering advice, learnings and ideas to drive performance and innovation.
- Setup and activate VOD media campaigns accurately on respective systems, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Execute and optimise a range of formats and VOD channels, and support planning opportunities for additional one-to-one CRM channels: email, push and in-app notifications.
- Work closely with creatives to ensure activity is high quality, on brand, compliant, appropriate and performant for our channels.
- Employing a test-and-learn approach to deliver continuous improvement in campaign metrics.
- Monitor performance and feedback learnings back to the wider CRM & VOD team to paint an ongoing picture of what activity is performing best, to drive optimisation across all CRM & VOD activity.
- Experienced in planning, activating and optimising digital media campaigns, particularly video formats, working towards clear outcomes and KPIs.
- Strong at understanding and interpreting data to aid decision making.
- Organised and able to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- A can-do, collaborative, get-things-done approach.
- A genuine passion for ITV programmes, film and TV.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster stakeholder relationships across a range of business areas.
- Comfortable presenting in meetings and giving performance updates to relevant stakeholders.
- An effectiveness mindset, using past learnings and insight to inform future activity.
- Accountability for output, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A marketing related qualification is desirable.
