We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager (Data & Analytics) to join ITV Studios Technology, working across Global Partnerships and Zoo55 (Digital Studios) as part of a major programme of change focused on Rights, Content Sales & Licensing, Royalties, Contract Lifecycle Management, Digital Studio Content Production, Channels and Brand Licensing. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping unlock the true value of ITV Studios’ data, providing insight, enabling smarter decision making and identifying opportunities to continue growing our global business.
You’ll work closely with our commercial SVP for Data & Analytics and our Head of Data & AI in Studios Technology to help shape and deliver our data strategy, enhancing our understanding of markets, customers and the content we create, produce, distribute and monetise. As part of this wider transformation programme, the initial focus of the role will be to define and deliver the roadmap for data insights, analytics and AI capabilities across ITV Studios’ Global Partnerships business. This includes both user-facing dashboards and reporting solutions, as well as the underlying data, metadata and platform capabilities required to support them.
You’ll also help define the roadmap for new AI capabilities across the ecosystem, including Agents, GenAI, LLMs and Agentic AI, while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Data & AI teams to deliver scalable and valuable data products. This role combines strategic product leadership, technical delivery and business engagement, helping to build the future data and analytics platform that will support ITV Studios for years to come.
The team
ITV Studios is one of the biggest global creators, producers and distributors of TV content in the world. Growing our UK and global production base is central to our More than TV strategy. We are the largest producer in the UK, one of the largest producers in Europe and one of the largest independent unscripted producers in the US. ITV Studios’ UK division includes 27 production labels, creating and producing a diverse range of scripted and unscripted content for a wide range of broadcasters and streaming platforms. Within ITV Studios is our Global Partnerships and Zoo55 business, which further adds to our creative and financial success by developing international hit formats and distributing our 90,000+ active catalogue hours of film and television content to buyers such as broadcasters, streaming platforms, airlines and many more. As we continue to grow, providing these development, sales and distribution teams with the right tools to succeed in a competitive environment is critical to powering that future value. Working hand in hand with our business teams, ITV Technology is the key that unlocks our creativity, allowing us to make, distribute and monetise the best programmes in the UK and across the world. From the transformation of ITV’s internal systems to how the broadcaster makes programmes and delivers content to viewers, digital transformation and innovation is at the heart of our future at ITV.
Responsibilities:
- Develop understanding of Global Partnerships, Zoo55 Digital Studios, Studio55 (Brands & Licensing) businesses - markets, customers, content monetisation strategies, value chains and supply chains.
- Define delivery roadmap and priorities for data analytics and insights and AI solution development including what can be done within BAU versus determining what needs to be delivered as a larger funded project.
- Work alongside the broader Engineering and Product capabilities to establish the foundation of the systems required, including data collection, data consumption and processing using AI, storage, data lifecycle maturity management, cleansing and visualisation, within the context of existing and newly emerging tools and systems across the broader enterprise.
- Own development and enhancement of data & analytics solutions (end-to-end) e.g. dashboard reporting to deliver business value.
- Develop Data & Analytics Product Catalogue including Key Data Sources / Repositories and Governance.
- Develop network with key business and technology stakeholders (including building network with ITV peers in other teams).
- Promote the understanding and use of platforms, tools, analytics and insights in a time poor / data rich environment - simplifying the complex.
- Manage Data & Reporting Analysts in support of delivering overarching responsibilities.
- Establish process / forums and governance over the capture and prioritisation of business needs for delivery using our Agile Portfolio Management framework.
- This role is technical, requiring hands-on delivery, though is also business facing, taking the lead role to engage with business customers to ExP level to capture their needs, translate those needs into deliverable outcomes and to deliver those outcomes in the form of data products, analytics, insights and tools / agents.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a Data Analytics, Data Product or Data & AI focused role, with strong experience delivering scalable analytics solutions and business insight capabilities.
