The role

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, do-er to act as the guardian of our measurement framework and the engine behind its operations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to champion our sources of truth as well as plan, lead and unify the cross channel delivery of test & learn agendas.

Sitting at the intersection of our media channel leads and our analytics specialists, you will ensure our Marketing Mix Models (MMM) are fed with the right data and that our Test & Learn ideas are translated into rigorous, actionable experiments.

  • Main responsibilities
  • MMM Operations

As the primary point of contact for all data sharing and queries from MMM partners, you will manage a timely process of gathering, cleaning, and formatting media delivery and performance data for our econometric models.

  • Accuracy & Quality Assurance: Ensuring all shared data is accurately formatted and reflects the reality of our media activity across all platforms.
  • Performance Interpretation and storytelling: Assist in interpreting model results, helping to translate statistical outputs into a clear story focused on which channels are under-performing, and where the opportunity for growth lies.

Agency partner: Maintain regular contact with our econometrics agency partners.

In this position you will manage the flow of requests, ensure adherence to briefs, and interrogate recommendations where necessary.

Internally you will champion their work and ensure engagement with the output.

  • Evolution and innovation: To maximise the impact and effectiveness of our model, you will consider opportunities to further improve the data feed.

By maintaining knowledge of industry best practice, and building a strong relationship with relevant contacts, you will have the opportunity to maximise the impact of MMM throughout the wider business.

  • Experimentation rollout
  • In collaboration with channel managers, you will manage the measurement framework and experimentation roadmap.

In which we will detail our test and learn priorities that you will spearhead as the year goes on.

  • Learning Prioritisation: Own the rollout of the experimentation and measurement roadmap. Ensuring the tests deemed most important are executed in timely and rigorous manners.
  • The "Knowledge Bank": Maintain the central test & learn log.

Documenting every outcome, and sharing those with wider stakeholders to ensure that learnings are actively used to ameliorate media plans.

  • Technical

Translation: Collaborate with specialists and analysts to take ambitious ideas from Channel Leads (owned and paid), and translate them into technical briefs for specialists to build.

  • Initiative

Support: Design and set up cross-channel Test & Learn initiatives, including A/B testing, Meta/Google Lift studies, and regional Geo-tests across both owned and paid media.

Skills you’ll need

  • (minimum criteria)
  • Have demonstrable experience within a media business. Either agency (Data/Analytics/Planning/ Transformation) or an in-house effectiveness operations role.
  • Experience with both paid and owned media with an ability to evidence the nuances in their measurement challenges.
  • Proven experience working across multiple media channels.
  • Proven experience working with, Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, and Incrementality Testing.
  • Familiarity with the “plumbing” of measurement - how pixels, APIs and Clean Rooms function to collect data.
  • Experience managing relationships with third-party measurement partners.
  • Other things we’re looking for
  • (key criteria)
  • You will be detail orientated - That could manifest in being able to spot errors that others may overlook, or to ensure excellence in every data sheet you share.
  • You are highly organised and capable of managing multiple workstreams between different teams with competing deadlines.
