We're seeking an Insight Manager to work within the Content Insight Team. The Content Insight Team work closely with Commissioning and Scheduling to deliver key insights and bring the voice of the audience to the heart of key decision making. The role will work primarily across Entertainment and Reality programmes, working closely with the Senior Insight Manager to help deliver key insights on our programmes, genres and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Ratings Analysis: Monitoring and reporting of programme performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Content Data Analysts to drive the automation of performance dashboards and streamline reporting processes.
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain high-impact relationships with the Commissioning Team to ensure audience insights are integrated into the creative lifecycle of Content – from Pre to Post Broadcast Research.
- Multi-Methodology Research: Design and lead end-to-end research projects using a blend of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Questionnaire Design & Execution: Develop and analyse questionnaires to gather feedback on Content.
- Qualitative Insights: Facilitate or commission focus groups to gather "deep-dive" audience feedback, when required.
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex data sets into compelling, visually engaging presentations that "tell the story" of the viewer to non-analytical creative stakeholders.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Keep the Commissioning Team abreast of broader cultural trends, emerging genres, and international shifts to ensure content remains relevant and innovative.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria):
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of ITV, BARB, First Party Data, Programmes and Viewers.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Strong capability in analysing various data sets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
- Project Management: Expertise in overseeing qualitative and quantitative research projects from initiation to completion.
- Qualitative and Quantitative Research Experience: Knowledge and experience of various research methodologies to deliver impactful insights.
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Innovation & Modernisation: Aptitude for embracing change and efficiencies, automating processes, and modernising reporting and projects.

- A passion for TV Content, and ITV, with an excellent understanding and interest in Unscripted Content.
- Experience in building relationships with Creative Stakeholders.
