TV Studios is a leading global creator, producer and distributor of TV content. Studios Technology enables the creation, management and distribution of that content through scalable production workflows across cloud, data, AI, media asset management and post-production tooling, working closely with production, commercial and creative teams worldwide.
The Business Change Manager for Data and AI will drive the successful adoption of AI capabilities across ITV Studios globally, with an initial focus on the Studios AI platform, agent-based solutions and the wider suite of AI tools. Partnering with Product Managers and Delivery Managers, this hands-on role ensures these capabilities are embedded in day-to-day workflows and support the realisation of measurable value. The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, communications, training and process change to translate product delivery into adopted ways of working that deliver business outcomes. The role does not define product strategy or priorities, but is accountable for ensuring successful adoption and effective use in practice. The role will also support the development of a consistent, scalable approach to AI and data change across Studios, enabling faster and more effective adoption over time.
Key Criteria:
- Proven experience delivering business change and adoption in complex, fast-paced environments, ideally within media, production or similar operational settings.
- Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of technology products or platforms, working in close partnership with Product and Delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of change management principles and practical experience applying them (e.g. stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption planning).
- Experience embedding new tools and ways of working into existing processes, with a focus on driving usage and improving day-to-day operations.
- Ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including production, operational and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts (including AI) into clear, practical guidance for non-technical users.
- Working understanding of AI and data concepts, including Generative AI, sufficient to support effective adoption and responsible use (not deep technical expertise).
- Experience establishing feedback loops and using insight (qualitative and quantitative) to improve adoption and user experience.
- Familiarity with governance, risk and compliance considerations (e.g. data protection, security, IP) in the context of technology adoption.
- Ability to operate in global, distributed environments and adapt approaches to different teams, markets and production contexts.
The role requires the following abilities and characteristics:
- Practical and delivery-focused, with the ability to translate plans into action and drive adoption in real-world environments.
- Strong collaborator, able to work effectively with Product and Delivery teams while building trusted relationships across business and technology stakeholders.
- Influential and credible, able to engage teams, build buy-in and support behaviour change without direct authority.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to simplify complexity and tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Empathetic and user-focused, understanding the realities of production environments and adapting approaches accordingly.
- Proactive and resilient, able to navigate ambiguity, overcome resistance and maintain momentum in fast-paced settings.
- Organised and structured, with the ability to manage multiple change activities and priorities simultaneously.
- Outcome-aware, focused on driving adoption and effective use rather than just completing activities.
- Committed to responsible and ethical use of AI, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.
