The Role
Duration: 24 months (This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week)

Digital transformation and innovation are at the heart of our future, from the transformation of ITV\’s internal systems, to how we make highly engaging content, and then delivering that to viewers how, where, and when they choose to watch.

The Role
This is one of the most diverse technology graduate schemes in the industry.
Over 24 months, you will work closely with different ITV technology departments. From our award-winning streaming service, to our broadcast and studios areas, and key functions including cloud hosting, data and machine learning, finance, networks, and cybersecurity.

all within an exciting creative media environment
How the Scheme Works
You can choose where you are based from one of our three key technology sites – London, Leeds, or Manchester. During the programme, you will have the opportunity to work with teams across all of our sites.
In the first year, you\’ll spend time working within each of the business areas, attend structured training in a development language (Scala, Java, or front-end), and do an extended placement with one of our software engineering teams.
What makes our graduate programme unique is that in your second year, we\’ll put together a combination of placements, projects, and learning that focus your development into a career specialism, and empower you to work towards a long-term career at ITV. If you find that you have a passion for a particular area within technology, we\’ll do our best to make sure you get to experience working in that area.
Entry Criteria
We are looking for dynamic and driven people with an appetite for learning to join our technology team. We want people who are passionate about what we do and have a clear ability to solve complex problems.
Skills You\’ll Need:
- Hold or be working towards a 2:2 degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths subject. If you don\’t have a degree, we are open to applications from people who have equivalent experience to prove your suitability to the role
- Have a passion for technology, with the ability to demonstrate it through your study, personal projects, or work
- Excellent communication skills, confident communicating complex ideas in a straightforward manner
- Strong team player
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset
- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK
