The Role
The teams MultiStory Media is made up of teams of passionate story-tellers that work across a broad range of genres: Current Affairs, Politics, Factual Entertainment, and Documentaries. Always keen to bring fresh faces into the industry, there are placement opportunities across productions of theirs such as, \’Tonight\’ – Britain\’s most popular Current Affairs programme (this would be a hybrid work experience with some days in the MediaCityUK offices).
Lifted Entertainment is home to some of the biggest TV formats in the world. From live talent competition shows like The Voice UK to quizzes such as University Challenge, Countdown, and The Big Quiz – there isn’t an unscripted genre we do not produce. If you\’re excited by the prospect of seeing how our teams craft such great television, our placement opportunities and industry insights from Lifted Entertainment will be right up your street.
The roles
Being part of this Programme gives you access to a range of programme makers which will inform and advise on the best ways of breaking into the business, as well as the chance to broaden your network and gain possible first-hand behind the scenes experience. You\\\’ll have access to:
- A bespoke website filled with all sorts of resources and insights from programme makers
- Members of the ITV Studios Talent Team for CV and Career Chats
- Work Experience opportunities
Skills you\\\’ll need (minimum criteria)
- A demonstrable passion for unscripted TV
- A demonstrable interest in building a behind camera career within either editorial or production management within unscripted TV
- Knowledge of programmes produced by either MultiStory Media and/or Lifted Entertainment
Other things we\\\’re looking for (key criteria)
- Exemplary interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A demonstrable aptitude for organisation
- Strong initiative
- Basic understanding of studio and location environments
- A grasp of the differences between unscripted and scripted TV
