The role: We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join us. You’ll play a key role in keeping our finances accurate, organised and up to date. Working in a fast‑paced production environment, you’ll support reporting, controls and day‑to‑day finance activity; helping the team stay on track and make informed decisions. You’ll work closely with finance colleagues and teams across the business, building strong relationships and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):

  • Relevant finance qualification or study: Degree in Accounting/Finance, AAT qualified or currently studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent experience).
  • Finance experience: Experience in a Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or similar role, with exposure to transactional finance and/or month‑end processes.
  • Core accounting tasks: Experience of accounting tasks including but not limited to: bank reconciliations; accounts payable; accounts receivable; journal postings; balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Systems: Experience using accounting software (eg Sage or similar) and Excel.
  • Organisation and accuracy: Evidence of managing multiple tasks with strong attention to details (eg meeting deadlines, handling high volumes of data or transactions accurately).

  • Experience in media, TV production or a similar fast‑paced industry.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with a demonstrable ability to spot issues and suggest improvements.

  • Confidence working in a deadline‑driven, changing environment.
