The role
The Enterprise Platforms Delivery Manager will help evolve the Enterprise Platform, in line with changing business requirements for corporate application hosting.
This exciting, broad role has responsibility for the delivery of the team’s strategic projects, across a range of technologies, in a fast paced environment, using agile delivery methodologies.
The role-holder is responsible for managing multiple parallel projects and ensuring that they are delivered both on time and on budget.
The role holder will plan projects, manage risks, issues and dependencies, manage competing resource requirements across the projects, manage external resourcing requests and provide project reporting and governance.
Main responsibilities
- Manage multiple platform projects in parallel, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies
- Manage resource allocation within the team, across multiple projects
- Drive projects forward with external teams and align business expectations
- Understand the what and why of everything they deliver
- Produce robust project plans
- Produce comprehensive project reporting
- Stakeholder management
- Co-ordinate between multiple technical teams
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven experience in delivering platform and infrastructure projects on time and on budget
- The aptitude to understand the what and why of everything they deliver
- Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholders and managing expectations
- Experience of cloud migrations would be beneficial
- Experience in managing resources across multiple projects
- Experience of working with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Experience of producing comprehensive and meaningful project reports, which highlight areas of risk which require management intervention or decision
- Experience in Jira would be beneficial
- Experience of working with 3rd party resources would be beneficial

- Commercially aware: applies business context and able to represent company interests in conversations with suppliers and other third parties
- Demonstrates proactivity and a self-starting autonomous approach
- Highly collaborative: Enjoys bouncing ideas around a team and helping the team to select the best approach for the company
