Workplace: White City, London - Hybrid 18 Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking an Insight Manager to work within the Central Insight Team. This role will work closely with the Senior Insight Manager to help shape our understanding of our business. The role will primarily deliver curated insights but will seek to introduce and champion a multitude of techniques as appropriate (research, analytics and data science).

The team ITV is on a mission to Supercharge Streaming and Optimise Broadcast with data and insight right at the centre of our strategy. Our Insights Group brings the voice of our audiences into the heart of our business. They make sure our viewers and users play a part in every decision we make, as they put the ITV Way to work to build brand new relationships that go much further than just TV.

Working right across ITV, they're the people behind our forecasts about the future strategy for television. It's about helping every part of our business better understand who our viewers are, and what they want. Which means their influence reaches from strategy, to commercial, studios, commissioning, scheduling, brand, online, and more. The ITV Insights Group will lead the business in putting insight in every key decision.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing audience behaviours and providing insight on our viewers to drive business value.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to diagnose the underlying drivers of performance fluctuations for both ITV and the wider competitive landscape.
  • Data Storytelling: Translate complex data sets into compelling, visually engaging presentations that 'tell the story' of the viewer to non-analytical creative stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Analysts to drive the automation of performance dashboards and streamline reporting processes.
  • Disseminate insights to the benefit of other teams and wider partners in ITV, in a timely way via multiple means, including dashboards, automated reports, narratives, slides and presentations.
  • Visually represent data to drive clear business decisions and action.
  • Monitor historic performance trends and highlight variances versus previous years to ensure stakeholders understand the immediate drivers of change.
