b Overview /b p In this role you support the finance function within Mammoth Screen’s drama productions, helping to maintain accurate reporting and assist with month-end processes. You will handle journal postings, end-of-month packs, and analysis related to regional spend and development commitments. The role includes HMRC work, VAT, PAYE-related filings, and production accounting support to production teams and external reviewers. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and Accounts Assistant to ensure timely payments and accurate records, contributing to high-profile TV projects and the company’s ambitious storytelling. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Post journals and maintain month-end reporting packs /li li Calculate royalties and payaways from distribution statements and maintain trackers /li li Prepare analysis and reports for productions (e.g., regional spend) /li li Set up internal/external systems for new productions /li li HMRC analysis, VAT, P11D, PAYE, Foreign Entertainers Unit, Section 16 filings /li li Maintain reconciliations and trackers, coordinate with colleagues on spend and commitments /li li Support weekly payment runs and mailbox inquiries during peak periods /li li Assist Production Accountants and Finance Manager during production, including bank payments /li li Support independent reviewers and statutory accounts preparation for group companies /li li Support wider team with other relevant finance tasks /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Experience in a finance team /li li Ability to prepare and analyse financial information with strong attention to detail /li li Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for finance/data analysis /li li Experience managing multiple finance tasks and deadlines /li li Experience communicating financial information to financial and non-financial colleagues /li /ul ul li Prioritising competing deadlines and adapting to changing priorities /li li Clear, constructive communication and relationship-building with colleagues /li li Proactive and collaborative mindset /li li Microsoft Excel for finance/data analysis /li li Sage /li li SAP Concur invoice processing /li /ul
