The role involves continuing your career in global TV distribution with a pivotal role on our dynamic UK & EMEA Sales Team, part of one of Europe's largest distribution businesses. This is more than an administrative role—it's a step into the commercial heart of TV sales, positioning you as a key central contact supporting the external-facing sales team. Main responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the EMEA/UK Sales teams and the Global Content and Marketing departments, ensuring clear and efficient communication flows. Assist the Sales team by helping to streamline the provision of any additional programme feedback required by the Global Content team for half-year Producer reports.
- Internal Coordination: Organize and manage team meetings, from setting agendas to following up on all action items. Cultivate strong working relationships with Co-ordinators across the company.
- Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Actively streamline internal processes, including the timely completion of sales projections/business plans by the Sales team, and overall workload organization, to enhance team efficiency. Ensure the team is fully across what viewing and reading materials are available, both for themselves and for their clients.
- Executive & Sales Enablement: Directly support the EVP on key internal and external sales activities, including sourcing and preparing material for high-impact presentations, sourcing necessary materials, and conducting critical research for sales trips. Manage and process expense claims for departmental VPs.
- Strategic Market Support: Play a critical role in high-profile industry markets like MIPCOM and the ITV Studios Drama Festivals. Collaborate closely with the Global Content, Marketing, and Insights teams to ensure the sales teams have the essential pitching materials, helping create presentations and pitch decks where required.
- Information Management: Maintain robust document filing and organization using Google Drive, ensuring Sales tools are readily accessible, and all confidential materials are handled with best practice security.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous experience in the role of a Team Assistant within the media industry
- TV distribution experience would be an advantage
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new IT systems, with ideally a knowledge of Google Drive and the Google Suite
- Familiarity with Salesforce desired but not essential
- Experience of, and keen interest in, the television distribution business
