You will be working with some of the biggest brands in television, ensuring video content is effectively re-packaged and presented to online audiences. This includes creating eye-catching thumbnails, crafting compelling metadata and managing the posting process across YouTube and other platforms.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to increasing ITV’s exposure across YouTube, social media and the global AVOD market, so having a keen interest in these areas would be highly beneficial.
The role will entail but not be limited to:
- Edit and upload video content for ITV's social video channels.
- Design eye-catching thumbnails and craft engaging metadata that are tailored to each platform.
- Track and log video content, maintaining accurate records for content management.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create engaging social media posts promoting long-form content.
- Schedule YouTube and social video content according to best practices.
- Assist the Digital Channels Manager in identifying content priorities and scheduling.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and stay updated on social media trends.
- Transform long-form content into bite-sized social media videos, tailoring them for maximum engagement across platforms.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria):
- Proven video editing skills with experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Confidence in creating social video content in a variety of formats.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms, including the advanced back-end functionalities, to help optimise channel and content performance.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation.
- Ability to create engaging and eye-catching thumbnails and graphics.
